Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Have received a provisional or unconditional admission offer for a Master’s program at the University of Groningen before February 2026.
Possess excellent academic performance, preferably supported by letters of recommendation.
Have achieved outstanding grades during undergraduate studies.
Demonstrate excellent English language proficiency, meeting the program’s admission requirements.
Be available for the entire duration of the program.
Be in good health to arrange health insurance in the Netherlands.
Hold the nationality of a country listed in Appendix 1.
Lack other means of financing the study.

Application Process
Apply for Admission: Submit an application for a Master’s program at the University of Groningen before December 1, 2025.
Nomination: The University’s Admission Office, in consultation with faculty Admission Boards, will nominate suitable candidates.
Notification: Nominated candidates will be informed before February 2026.
NOTE: Direct application for the scholarship is not possible. Only nominated candidates will be considered.
