The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded five-month professional program hosted by Yale University’s International Leadership Centre (ILC) under the Jackson School of Global Affairs. It equips 16 emerging clean-energy and climate leaders from the Global South with technical knowledge, global networks, and leadership skills to drive climate solutions locally and internationally.

Yale’s immersive fellowship includes:
Orientation Week – In-person at Yale (Feb 16–20, 2026)
Remote Learning Journeys – Inter-active sessions with global experts (March–June 2026)
Paris Closing Week – In-person (June 15–19, 2026) with networking and policy presentations

Eligibility Criteria
Be professionals with 5–10 years of experience in climate, clean energy, policy, business, media, or civil society
Represent emerging/developing countries in Africa, Asia, Middle East, or Latin America & Caribbean
Exhibit strong English fluency
Commit fully to both in‑person sessions and remote components
Demonstrate leadership potential and proven impact in the climate space
